Well with a week off I have a lot to catch up on. First of all I would like to say that my perception of the NFL this year is a terrible one. I have never seen so many incompetent coaches/players in one league. It is disgusting. Let go back to week 3 for a couple of prime examples. Don't worry this is leading to the Raiders.
1. Kurt Warner QB for the Arizona Cardinals not only blows a touchdown from the 2 yard line because he forgot which team he plays for but then proceeds to fumble the ball inside the 20 with no time left to effectively lose the game for the Cardinals. Now I don't know how much "laying down" goes on in the league but if Warner did not throw this game then I am a RAIDER LOVER and we all know that is not happening in this lifetime. (Classic example of players that should not be paid)
2. Cleveland Browns with literally no time left in the game inside the Baltimore 10 throw a pass that is intercepted and returned giving the Ravens a shot at a 51 yard field goal which they made and beat the browns. This was not a Steve Mcnair comeback this was a total coaching breakdown in Cleveland. (Classic example of coaches that should not be paid)
3. I have to give the Raiders Credit in Week 3 they looked the best I have seen them all year. RAIDERS SUCK!
4. Miami, Tennessee, Houston and Detroit. I would rather go shopping with my ex wife then turn on the TV and be subjected to watching this garbage.
Ok, let’s go on to week 4 shall we.
1. Warner Starts for the Cardinals. Now what the hell is the team thinking here is it just me or is Denny Green getting paid by the bookies too! My God what does Warner have to do to get benched or better yet get fired or better yet get traded to the Raiders?
2. Cleveland gives up 21 first half point to the Raiders and still wins. Now I watched this game because there were no other games on (the Chargers played in the morning). I have got to tell you that Rutgers could have beat either of these teams. They suck it is as simple as that they just suck.
3. Miami loses to Houston, I have to admit I think the Raiders / Browns may have been better than this one.
My point is this: the quality in pro football this year is the worst. Players running around cheering when they make a tackle, MY GOD IT IS THEIR JOB TO TACKLE, it should actually be done more than twice a game.
Coaches happy to kick fields goals, well at least they scored this week.
Wide Receivers, please I won't even go there, simple put Moss, Owens and Chad Johnson pretty much say it all for the state of this position.
Quarterbacks that are put out on the field not to win games but instead not to lose games, when did this become OK.
So I must tell you that at this point in the year I am extremely disappointed with pro football.
I think it was all put into perspective last week when the Haynesworth steps on the head of the helmet less Dallas Center twice and is not thrown out of the game. Then is given a five game suspension and the players union is going to protest. Now the last time I stepped on a guys head and made him bleed (Raider fan at the Charger game) I was ejected immediately, Threatened to go immediately to jail (I would have but it was a raider fan so they police showed some mercy) and told not to return to the Murph again that year.
I know there are a bunch of you out there saying that there are good games too, but think about this... Management pays these guys more than most of us will make in a lifetime to be sub par, not prepared and at best SOBER on game day. Should we not expect more?
Oh by the way I am sure about one thing the worst of the worst are the Raiders tune in next week and I will expand!
OVER and OUT..... Raiders Really Really Suck.
